This guide will walk you through the steps necessary to change which monitor Aimlabs launches on, which can be useful if you have a multi-monitor setup and want to play on a specific screen.
Prerequisites
- Aimlabs is installed and running.
- Your computer has multiple monitors connected and recognized by the operating system.
Method 1: Using In-Game Settings
The simplest way to change the display monitor is usually through Aimlabs' in-game settings menu.
Step 1: Access Settings
- Launch Aimlabs.
- Click the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top-right corner of the screen (depending on your current Aimlabs UI version).
- If you are mid-task, you can press ESC, and then click Settings during gameplay, which will open up the same Settings menu.
Step 2: Navigate to Video/Display Settings
- In the Settings menu, look for the Graphics tab.
Step 3: Select the Desired Monitor
- Find the setting labeled Selected Display.
- Click the dropdown menu next to this setting. It will typically list your connected monitors by its name: e.g. BNQ7FB7.
- Select the monitor you wish Aimlabs to launch on.
Step 4: Apply Changes
- Click Save to confirm your selection.
- Aimlabs should automatically shift to the newly selected monitor. If it does not, try restarting the application.
Method 2: Using Windows Display Settings (Windows Users)
If the in-game method doesn't work, or if you prefer a system-wide solution, you can ensure your desired monitor is set as the primary display.
Step 1: Open Display Settings
- Right-click on an empty area of your desktop.
- Select Display settings.
Step 2: Identify and Select Monitors
- In the "System > Display" window, you will see boxes representing your monitors labeled with numbers (1, 2, etc.).
- Click on the monitor you want Aimlabs (and other applications) to launch on by default.
Step 3: Set as Primary Display
- Scroll down to the Multiple displays section.
- Check the box that says Make this my main display.
Step 4: Relaunch Aimlabs
- Close Aimlabs completely.
- Relaunch Aimlabs. It should now launch on the monitor you designated as the main display.
Method 3: Forcing Window Movement (Temporary Fix)
If you only need a quick, temporary fix for the current session, you can manually move the Aimlabs window to another screen.
You can press Windows Key + Shift + Left/Right Arrow to quickly move the active window to the adjacent monitor or manually move it by following the steps below.
- Ensure Aimlabs is running in Windowed or Fullscreen Windowed mode (check the in-game Video settings). This method does not work in Fullscreen Exclusive mode.
- Shortkey Tip: Press Alt + Enter to quickly toggle between Fullscreen and Windowed modes.
- Click and hold the window's title bar.
- Drag the Aimlabs window entirely onto the desired monitor.
Once it's on the correct monitor, you can change the display mode back to Fullscreen via the in-game settings if desired, or press Alt + Enter.
