If you are experiencing issues using your mouse and keyboard while playing games or tasks on your PlayStation 5, please follow the troubleshooting steps outlined below.
Note: This issue appears to be related to how the PS5 console recognizes and manages peripheral devices, and it is not specific to Aimlabs. Our development team, along with others across various titles, has observed similar recognition issues on the PS5 platform.
Workaround for Mouse/Keyboard Recognition Issues
To resolve temporary connectivity or recognition problems, follow this specific connection sequence:
- Close Aimlabs (or the game you are playing) completely. Ensure the application is not running in the background.
- Unplug all peripherals (mouse, keyboard, etc.) from the PS5 console.
- Plug in your Mouse first.
- Plug in your Keyboard second.
- Launch Aimlabs.
Advanced Troubleshooting
If following the exact order above does not resolve the issue:
- Unplug both your mouse and keyboard.
- Restart your PS5 console (a full power cycle, not just rest mode).
- Once the console has fully restarted, go through the connection sequence again:
- Plug in your mouse first.
- Plug in your keyboard second.
- Launch Aimlabs.
